comment諏訪精工舎の「グランドセイコー」と並び称される第二精工舎の最高機種。発売時期が接近していることから、諏訪のグランドセイコーに対抗する形で亀戸が製造に着手したとも言われています。1958年に発売された「クロノス」のII型基礎キャリバーに改良を加えた25石の手巻きムーブメントを搭載。これは初期型にあたり、後期型の特徴である秒針規正装置は搭載されていません。ケースは非防水のスナップバック。裏蓋には西洋盾のマーク入りメダリオンが配されています。後期型はKING SEIKOのロゴが6時位置に、12位置にはSEIKOの文字が配されています。
notesThe highest model of the Second Seikosha, which is named alongside the Suwa Seikosha's "Grand Seiko". It is also said that Kameido has started manufacturing in a form that rivals Suwa's Grand Seiko because the release time is approaching. It is equipped with a 25 stone hand-rolled movement that is an improvement on the Type II basic caliber of "Kronos" released in 1958. This is the early type, and the second hand regulation device, which is a feature of the late type, is not installed. Case is non-waterproof snapback. On the back cover is a medallion with a Western shield mark. The late model has the KING SEIKO logo at 6 o'clock, and the 12 position has the letters SEIKO.
